Really enjoyed the hill reps with Lauren - really informative, full or encouragement and nice to do a structured session with such a friendly group
I reached out to Lauren (once lockdown allowed) because my previous training regime was predominantly made of indoor weights, HIIT, cardio, resistance, etc, and my bored and restless brain wanted a change. I had dabbled with running (my knees could never hold out), road biking (which didn't accommodate my labradors) and got myself out fell walking (when I could sneak in a longer jaunt). Lauren has taught me to focus my fitness training and has massively helped me improve and progress into fell and trail running (which the dogs love too!). She has given me the confidence to tackle fells and run further distances than I ever thought I would. I was one of those people who would pull my nose up at running as exercise - but look at me now, booking onto race competitions! Who'd have thought. She's an inspiration and a bloody good coach. Having her female's perspective and insight is invaluable too. Thanks Lauren.
Had an excellent hill session run by Lauren, the outlines of the session were really clear and she was great at talking through anything I didn’t understand. It was type 2 fun, but I felt so good afterwards and it will definitely help benefit my fitness!
